Hurdles

Green Bay native Cordell Tinch cruised into the semifinals of the 100 meter hurdles at the United States track and field trials on Monday.

Tinch hit the first hurdle out of the blocks in his heat, but advanced to the next round with a time of 13.33 seconds. That time was good enough for ninth overall.

The Bay Port alum represented the United States in the World Championships last summer after finishing second at nationals. He would narrowly miss making the finals at Worlds by posting a time of 13.31 seconds.
